Common oil cooler system problems for Chevrolet Sonic, Cruze and Tracker.
These are some of the most commonly reported problems by users.
1. Oil leaks.
This is a very common problem in these vehicles. The gasket must be replaced to fix this issue. In some cases, a complete oil cooler replacement isn't necessary. Therefore, it's only necessary to remove the unit and inspect the leaking areas to see if the gaskets can be replaced. Most of the time, this can be resolved by replacing gaskets like these:

2. Oil flow to the water or cooling reservoir
Another reason for changing the packaging.
3. Strange noise in the cooler
