Intake and Exhaust Solenoids for Chevrolet Captiva 2.4 and HHR

Each vehicle has two, one intake and one exhaust. Original part numbers

12655420 and 12655421

*It is recommended to replace these solenoids only when the scanner displays the following CEL codes:

P0010 or P0011 refers to the intake solenoid (gray connector)

P0013 or P0014 refers to the exhaust solenoid. (black connector).

These sensors are extremely sensitive to problems with the vehicle's oil. This can happen either because the oil needs changing or because, sometimes, switching to a different brand of oil damages the solenoids.
